There is something about Tuscany that calls to me. I think I might even just like the word Tuscany. I remember when I saw the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun" that I felt like a person would be at total peace with themself if they were to spend some time in Tuscany. I googled tuscan villas and found this lovely villa above, it is called "Capella" I'm guessing after the pair of stars in the sky, who wouldn't want to sleep in a Tuscan Villa named after the stars! You can stay there for 7 nights for about $1,800 dollars which is about $250 a night. It overlooks vineyards, olive groves, and has a private pool! I love this picture below, I would sit there at night and eat olives, cheese, and crusty bread while drinking wine from local small town vineyards.

London Calling
12 Glorious seasons of the bachelor with a few bachelorettes. Tonight Krista and I will catch up on this seasons bachelor and then continue to follow the drama and mayhem until this London chap picks, and then most likely breaks up with, some dim witted girl. I just CANNOT get enough of the Bachelor, I do not even like reality TV but for some reason I am hooked on Bachelor. For all of you watching I will most likely be posting may favorite girls so be on the lookout.
Thighmaster
I've become bored, listless, and soft sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day and have decided I am going to buy a thighmaster to use while I'm sitting at my desk. I figure with bathing suit season on the horizon why not maximize my dreaded seat I plant myself in all day and get a workout...I will have the slimmest inner thighs ever...or at least I hope. I have never really used a thighmaster seriously but I am willing to try anything. Target here I come. I think I might even measure my thigh and see if I can document change, then I can start a club for thighmaster users at work. Well maybe not.

The Wedge.
Every year I go on a quest for the perfect pair of Wedges and every year I find a pair and inevitibly destroy them. Wedges ar ethe kind of shoe you live in, so I do. This unfortunately makes for a daunting annual task. This pair above I saw on Nordstrom.com, cute but they are a far second to my first choice...seen below. Of course the below pair are PRADA and cost a whopping $650!!!! at Barneys...so second best will be my only option. But hey, a girl can dream.

Ode to Pottery Barn
I know Pottery Barn is not for everyone but I got an email this week announcing New Arrivals and this picture of a living room made me want to live in it. I love EVERYTHING about it; white sofa, bright pillows, clever little stumps for end tables, the wicker foot rest/coffee table, I could go on forever. I would kick back, watch a girly movie, and drink some Lemonade.

Mini-Spring Break
I'm heading out mid-day today to Palm Springs with my mom and sis for some much needed R&R. Not to worry I will be back Thursday! And although I am going to Palm Springs for "Spring Break" it will not resemble a typical "spring break" (unless you associate margaritas with spring break). I hope you all have a very good week!

I love you Tolani
After months of looking at Us Weekly and seeing Jessica Alba wear Tolani scarves I have gone ahead and purchased the one you see here. She of course has several which is now my goal since owning one...the scarf is sooooo pretty, it was so difficult to choose which one to buy! And compliments...I have never gotten so many compliments on a single item...EVER. They really are so pretty and they feel so good! If you have been coveting these scarves like I have then get one they are amazing!!!! I think the peacock print will be my next purchase. This was my first outing in my new scarf, Karaoke for Krista's B-Day!
Friday nights I can be found
In the middle of the living room challenging Tod to MULTIPLE games of Tennis, Bowling, Boxing, the list goes on... Wii Sports is now the exercise of choice at the Pradels house. It is SO addicting...no Super Mario or anything "video game" like, just good old fashion competitive sports (via a remote). By the way I am crazy good at Bowling and have yet to be beat by Tod! But I will honor his mad Tennis skills, he has already gone "pro"...If you have not bought a Wii yet you MUST...I am plotting a Wii party as we speak! I will say thought it does not have Rock Band which saddens me but I guess I will have to settle for Guitar Hero. Play on.

Must Love Cats
Must love cats would be the first line of my crush of the weeks personal ad (if he had one)
Dave Salmoni. You may know his as the host of "Into the Lions Den" on the Discovery Channel. He is a zooligist with a serious passion for felines. He is clearly trusting of them as well...
But let me show you a closer look at this animal lover who recently won himself an award as one of COSMO's fun and fearless males of 2008.

The Top 10 Rap Songs White People Love
I was on my way to work this morning and Jeff and Jer were talking about the top 10 rap songs that get all the white folks out on the dance floor. You know the ones...you are at a wedding and the music starts and you grab all your friends while screaming "I love this song". Then you proceed to sing EVERY word laughing about the fact that you still remember how the song goes. I sometimes laugh thinking about what I would look like if I had been taped and had to watch myself. I think it would make a good reality show for BET, secret footage of white folks getting down to rap!
And the count down to #1:
10. Positive K - I Got A Man
9. Digital Underground - The Humpty Dance
8. Biz Markie - Just A Friend
7. Young MC - Bust A Move
6. Rob Base and DJ Easy Rock - It Takes Two
5. Naughty By Nature - Hip Hop Hooray
4. Tag Team - Whoomp (There It Is)
3. Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby
2. House of Pain - Jump Around
1. Sir Mix-A-Lot - Baby Got Back

I'm a Professional
That's right ladies and gentleman that is me on the left singing my heart out out in front of the masses at the local karaoke bar The Lamplighter. I must admit I was a first timer and as a birthday present to my duet partner Krista I faced my fears and sang not once...but twice! Next stop...American Idol (we'll probably not). But, I would definitely be open to a repeat night out karaoke-ing!

Say hello to my little friend
Tod and I have decided we are going to be people of nature so it was only fitting we buy ourselves some new bikes to explore the great outdoors! Above is a picture of my beautiful new bike...sometimes I walk out to the garage just to look at it. And of course what girly bike would be complete without one of these...
My lovely little basket...Unfortunately Charlie is too big to fit inside so for now it is just Tod and I out on bike rides (but don't worry I will find a way for Charlie to come along one of these days).

Crush of the Week
Remember the glorious days of Boyz II Men? How you made one of their songs "your song" with every boyfriend you had between 6th-10th grade. I remember listening to their tapes for hours at a time. They are a major part of the soundtrack of my adolescence. I was watching Boomerang over the weekend...yes i said Boomerang (it was on BET). Every time there would be a musical interlude it would be some wonderful R&B song I used to swoon over as a girl (I even think I had the motion picture soundtrack to Boomerang). Spend some time on memory lane and listen to some of your old favorites on iTunes...whoever they might be.
