More Handbag Lust

I truly am a fan of Jimmy Choo handbags which actually makes perfect sense because I am a sucker for the shoes as well. I have seen Kate Hudson in several shots online carrying a new Jimmy bag that I love.

Now I truly am on a mission for ablack bag and it just so happens this lovely can be found in black as well! Now if I could only get someone to gift me a couple G's and we would be all set.

Yummy...Chicken

Ok...so yesterday I spent 30 minute on the elliptical watching the food network. Strange I know...I have become uber obsessed with watching the food network since I have been pregnant. Anyhoo, if you have ever watched Paul Deen then you know she is all about full fat and yesterdays episode was proof of that. I watched her make biscuits, casserole, pigs on a stick and chocolate dippy doughnuts all the while talking to the TV letting it know I was exercising and would not be eating her butter and sour cream ladened fatty food. But the casserole she made...aghh the casserole lookes so delicious so I have decided to share her recipe. It looked SOOOOO good. But beware...even if you use low fat ingredients it is no light fare. You can find the whole menu here if you are intrigued

2 (10-ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach
6 chicken breast halves (about 4 pounds), cooked, boned, and shredded
2 (10 3/4-ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream 2
cup grated sharp Cheddar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon curry powder
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs 2 tablespoons butter

Remove the outer wrappers from the box of spinach. Open 1 end of each box. Microwave on full power for 2 minutes, until thawed. Drain the spinach and put into a large bowl. Add the shredded chicken.
In a medium bowl, combine the soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, Cheddar, lemon juice, curry powder, salt and pepper, to taste, and wine. Whisk together to make a sauce. Pour the sauce over the spinach and chicken. Mix well with a spatula.
Place the mixture into an 11 by 7-inch casserole dish or 2 (9-inch) square disposable aluminum foil pans that have been sprayed with vegetable oil cooking spray. Pat down evenly and smooth with a spatula. Combine the Parmesan and bread crumbs and sprinkle over the top. Dot with the butter.
Wrap the uncooked casserole securely with plastic wrap, then with aluminum foil. Place each pan into a plastic freezer bag and seal. Place into freezer.
Allow casserole to thaw 24 hours in refrigerator. When ready to bake, remove the plastic wrap and foil. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes until bubbly.

STOP! Put that down!

Sorry Fergie but I think it would be a real mistake to buy that hideous nature wrap!
Hopefully it looked too big on (clearly) and you decided to put that one back on the rack. I can stomach the quirky "fashion" famous people create but that thing is just too ugly.

Back on Tory

Anyone who has read my blog knows I am totally stuck on Tory Burch. I really only have a couple things Tory but desire many. It is just not reasonable for me to have more Tory with my lifestyle. I do however need a new black purse...desperately. While I have a couple very nice ones it turns out Tod hates one of them and the other weighs so much I think I have developed a shoulder injury from carrying it (no seriously). I have been searching for something basic and black and I have decided after careful searching that this is one of my front runners. I just really like it; I love the signature T's, the clean lines, the simple design. I am gonna have to do some work on this one.

Found

Yesterday I talked about Katie's jeans and how I could not find a full length photo. Well folks here it is! Apparently they are Tom's jeans! She rolls them because he is shorter than her and it would look like the flood is coming so she makes them look short on purpose by pegging (I still am in shock over that) and then rolling. I think it is sweet she want to wear Tom's jeans but with their income couldn't she just buy some more comfortable and flattering jeans. I don't know, maybe I am way off and you all will love this look I just don't think it does much for her figure.

Androgynous

Is that Tom or Katie...seriously. Is she playing a man in her upcoming Broadway debut. I keep seeing pictures of her online wearing all men's clothes. I am just a little worried Katie no longer has any identity at all. A young girl who was up and coming and growing ever more glamorous by the minute and now this. I'm just a little confused. I could not find the picture of the jeans she is wearing but they are baggy, acid washed, as well as PEGGED (yes pegged) and rolled. Someone please help poor Tomkat.

So True.

I find myself feeling a little guilty because I have been buying a lot of stuff for myself lately. Totally normal for a growing pregnant person but it still feels over indulgent. I came across this prego t and it made me laugh "Spending for Two", ain't that the truth!

Best Birthday Ever

27 is certain to be a good year and I started it with the best present ever! The safe return of my husband who I missed so much! Thanks for all of your happy birthday wishes...I'm sure they will all come true!
